The Settlement Snapshot

Last updated: 2026-05-29

As deals come together, ADR Sentinel keeps a running Settlement Snapshot — an at-a-glance read on where the case stands. It's built automatically from the offers and demands you've accepted, so it's always current without any work on your part.

Where to find it

The snapshot appears at the top of the Ledger tab. It's collapsed by default; click to expand it. If nothing has been accepted yet, it stays hidden — there's nothing to summarize until a deal starts to land.

What it shows

The snapshot derives its numbers from the accepted entries in the case:

  • the total amount settled so far,
  • a settled-vs-open count of parties or claimants,
  • the latest accepted amounts,
  • and the percentage of claims resolved.

Because it's computed live from your ledger, it updates the moment you accept another number — no regenerating, no retyping.

A reference, not a document

In the mediator edition, the Settlement Snapshot is a read-only working reference for you in the room. It is not a document generator — there's no PDF export or customizable sections here. (The attorney edition includes a full Settlement Summary document generator.) To capture the underlying detail for your own records, use Settings → Diagnostics → Export raw state, which writes out the full case including all accepted terms.
